The first blog I ever read, Apartment Therapy, has given me utter validation: I'm in the first tier of the Fall Colors contest! I entered in a (rare) moment of bravery (or not so rare moment of vanity), so the fact that they featured me is making me shake. Check this azz out here!

They used to build places with like, useful things all over the place. Like: The picture rail! This picture rail has been in this place and I have not utilized it til now. So I put my necklace holder thangs on nylon string and used rail hooks. Which is ten times better than my usual hanging strategy, which usually involves tears and re-spackling the wall.

I of course talk to my home accessories. It's totally normal and you should too. Anyway, I have a message for this thing that was originally from Ikea for some shit like plants or candles or whatever and I thought it would be good for earrings. Not really. It's dumb and I'm saying goodbye.

This is my alarm clock, whom I adore. My boyfriend does not. He wants to smash it in the street outside. Actually, you have to smash the top with your hand in order to snooze; adding to that disconcertion, it also wakes you up with a rooster noise! A rooster noise! That combo makes me want to kill myself, but it helps me get out of bed. Yay!
