Pick up Mike's photography equipment to tidy or just plop a flower in the middle of the mess? Spoiler alert: THE PICTURE SHOWS WHAT HAPPENED.

On payday, I have an obsessive need to go clothes shopping. For Mike, it's gadgets. Meet his new Wacom Tablet. I know, I didn't know what it was either at first.

I went to Target this weekend for the Orla Kiely stuff (its first official weekend out) and they had pretty much nothing. Except these two mugs, which I obviously grabbed.

I felt mildly shamed by Angelica in the comments of this post, but she was totally right. My old coasters were cool at first, but being felt and getting all stained and gross had confirmed that the wheels had in fact, fallen off. These are my new coasters, painstakingly hunted for, and finally found, at Design Public.

I was thinking about making a pun here, like, oh check out my tulips, they're replacing my tulip chairs. But I kind of knew it was a stretch. And sort of offensive. Instead, just check out my V-Day flowers. Cut flowers! They're the shit.

After a two-year run, it's time to say good bye to my tulip chairs. I still love them, but it's time for something new. And they were never really that comfy anyway (burn).

Out with old, in with the other crap.

The sentimental value was high, but in the end, the beloved Marimekko prints didn't fit behind the TV anymore, and they didn't seem to go anywhere else, either. Well, except for Craigslist heaven, that is.

It's not like I didn't expect this. Oh, what? You have a green thumb? Well la ti frickin' da!

Finally found a place for the blue boxes where they fit great, look good, and aren't wasting space (they're holding craft supplies and charging cables). F yeah.

My dilemma is officially solved. One day, I will have the perfect vintage Danish credenza, but until then, I will have my new glossy white Ikea credenza. I went this weekend specifically to check out this piece and wowwee wowa it looked so much better in person, so here we are.
