My dilemma is officially solved. One day, I will have the perfect vintage Danish credenza, but until then, I will have my new glossy white Ikea credenza. I went this weekend specifically to check out this piece and wowwee wowa it looked so much better in person, so here we are.

It must be the time of year, because right now, I want to change everything in my place. This is an area I'm pretty cool with, but as much as I love that radical table, I'm thinking about replacing it with a wooden round one that extends so I can have dinner parties. You're probably thinking "Well, la-ti-da!" That is exactly what I want you to think.

There's portions of my a-p-t that I love but can't wait to change. This whole situation (imagine my palm circling this photo) is out. New smaller desk, lamp, and side table is in. I do not have these things yet, but I am going to will them into my life.

I like kitsch, but not usually kitsch this kitschy. However, my daddy sent me this in my Christmas box years ago, and I've been unable to assert my snobbiness enough to not display it. When you press the button, it jumps and plays "Low Rider." No brainer.

I feel really good about this. I needed a places for my remotes (there being multiples chapped my hide), and I think this is it.

Yes, that *is* a Carrie allusion.

I have my decorations up, but I have not bought a single Christmas gift. Hold me.

Last year I decided that my black tinsel tree was glam instead of sad. It's really grown on me. I still miss the smell, but I drank a big cup of Who Cares and now I am over it.

This be my new chalkboard. I wanted one for a long time, especially because it means I can get my unholy game-hating boyfriend to play the one game he likes (Pictionary).
Also it marks the beginning of the transition of this area from sewing nook to bar situation. So instead of crafty shit over here, it will be a bar and Pictionary. I know, right? You're all, settle down, you're so wild.
I know man.

Hark! My fabric pile from That Time I Was All Into Sewing. Other things have kept me from my machine for about um, a year, and so I'm going to put my fabric pile out of its misery. I'm going to burn it all in a fire.
Just kidding, I'm going to put it in my closet.
