I was not lying about the sewing. I did it once, and I leave it all out in my sewing nook as a reminder to get back in to the game. It's not working so far. At least it looks cute though, right? Mike's aunt gave me this when she retired from being a home ec teacher.
So, here is a refugee from last year's Sew-o-rama. Where I was all jazzed to get my sewing machine, and end up, obviously, on Project Runway. FAIL. I made like an apron, a couple yoga bags, a dress, and a top. And then I totally stopped. Project Lazy, more like.
Anyway, this survivor is my pin-holder--a Jonathan Adler apple dish I got for a few bucks, that I glued a big magnet onto to keep the pins in place. That soap is used for chalklines. See, I still worship the crafty stuff, I just don't go to church.
